About Ahanga
A fair chance to live and thrive
Ahanga Health Foundation exists so that preterm babies in Uganda, and the families who care for them, are never left to face the hardest days alone. We work in partnership with the people and institutions who deliver newborn care every day.
Who we are
Registered February 2026
Kampala, Uganda
Ahanga Health Foundation is a nonprofit organisation committed to improving the survival and quality of life of preterm newborns. We partner with hospitals, healthcare providers, development partners, local communities and families to strengthen neonatal care and ensure that every preterm baby has access to life-saving services, regardless of where they are born.
We believe that every preterm baby deserves compassionate, high-quality care, and that every family deserves support throughout their NICU journey.
